Waters Edge - Allen, Texas
Waters Edge Allen is an LCMS church located in Allen, Texas - approximately 30 minutes north of Dallas - and is led by Pastor Travis Hartjen, KidsConnect Director Jennifer Zschau, and the Spiritual Leadership Team (SLT).
A recently founded church, Waters Edge Allen became involved with Uganda and Mbulamuti through a trip to Uganda in January 2011. Curt Moothart joined a trip organized by Messiah Lutheran Church in Missouri and returned with a calling to help the people of Mbulamuti. Upon his return, Curt shared his passion with his congregation and they agreed to sponsor the remote village in East Central Uganda.
The congregation meets at Kerr Elementary School located at 1325 Glendover Drive in Allen, TX.
